Pathetic.
Needy.
Untrusting.
Emily Brinkman hears all these descriptions in her head, all the things she knows others are thinking when she joins her boyfriend, Clay “Jet” Smith, on tour with his band. It doesn’t matter that she’s going as his PA as well; she knows she’s being judged…but she also knows that the people watching are half right.
Hot.
Tight.
Fine.
Clay can hear what all the men around him think of his sweet girlfriend and he loves having Emily join him on tour. To this woman, he’s not just a one-dimensional axe-slinging guitar god. She loves him and wants the best for him, and she won’t tell him something just because it’s what he wants to hear. But Clay didn’t stop to realize that all the guys on tour--from the roadies to security and even their frontman--would appreciate that Emily is a nice piece of ass. He will need to learn to trust her if their relationship is going to survive.
Will Clay and Emily survive the bumps on the road or will their time on tour drive them apart?
Feverish #1.5 kicks off the new Feverish series, a spinoff from Jade C. Jamison's bestselling Bullet series. You will want to read FEVERISH (Bullet #3) first!
Boiling Point Feverish #15 A Novella edition by Jade C Jamison Literature Fiction eBooks
I fell in love with Jet/Clay in Bullet, an quite honestly wanted to see more of him with Val, but I finally understand why Val and Brad belong together. That doesn't quench my desire for more, more, more of the sexy guitarist with the split personality. (Rolling my eyes with Emily on that. I am going to assume that anyone who picks up Boiling Point has already read Feverish -if not, grab them both and get mesmerized by both sides of Mr. Smith.)I still need to get reviews up of several of the books in the Bullet series, and I know Feverish is one of them. I loved it simply because I was already intrigued by and enamoured with Clay/Jet, but I have to admit it took me a really long time to warm up to Emily, and quite honestly, I don't remember it happening. But I was extremely excited to open my Kindle this morning and realize the day was finally here for me to get another fix of him. Life on the road...yes, I can easily imagine that being a challenge. The real surprise for me was that by the second page of the book I was feeling protective of Emily. Where did that come from?! But in no time at all I wanted to throat punch Debbie (yes, I do believe I've known a few Debbie's in my life, but the idea that I wanted her to leave Em alone was the rather than just shut up because she was an obnoxious witch, did make me rethink how I had pictured her in Feverish.)
It's not a spoiler to say that there is nothing idyllic on the road, and than our fairly new couple are going to face sides of each other they haven't even imagined before. Can they find a way to trust each other? Or more importantly, can they let go of their own demons, insecurities and pasts in order to truly see what is in front of them.
As with all of Ms. Jamison's books, novellas and short stories, this one is for adult audiences only for explicit sexual content.
The only thing I could possibly complain about is the length - it was much too short in my very non-humble and incredibly self serving opinion. The addition of a Valentine's short story from an anthology was a nice touch, and I'm going out on a limb and assuming we will see more of guitar strumming studliness since this is billed as Feverish 1.5 - crossing everything that I am not wrong. Personally I woud read thousands of pages if Ms. Jamison would write them about him, but knowing that something else is in the works would make me a very happy fangirl.
Very highly recommended for all Bullet Babe's (and Boys) and any fans of rockstar romances -but if you are not familiar with the author or series, at the very least Feverish should be read first, if not all of the Bullet series. If I recall correctly, Jet makes at least an appearance in every book in the series.

Boiling Point Feverish #15 A Novella edition by Jade C Jamison Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Clay/Jet and Emily are off to a rocking start with the tour kicking off and their love/work relationship on the line. Is Emily able to deal with the sweet big hearted Clay vs his onstage persona Jet who is confident, unyielding and ever so sexy? (Not that he isn’t sexy as Clay!) Of course when the girlfriend goes on the tour bus everyone thinks that it is for her to keep an eye on her man which is not the case for Emily that is until Debbie starts planting those little seeds of doubt in her mind. Emily is Clay’s PA so she has every mind to make sure that she does her job…along with being Clay’s sexy girlfriend as well.
Clay has been burned himself when his ex sneaks behind his back having an affair that totally catches Clay off guard. How do you get past that and learn to trust someone you love especially when you hear guys on this tour talking about her sweet little tight ass. Jet can handle it; it’s Clay that starts to have doubts even if they aren’t warranted. Clay does the only thing he knows how to do to protect himself and that put up walls and let Jet take over. Maybe Jet takes over a little too much though because Emily has noticed a big change in Clay. Is she really after him only because of his star status and the money that goes along with it?
How are these two going to learn to trust one another with so many outside forces at work and will being on this tour as a couple be one of their worst mistakes? Be ready for some intense chemistry between them and see if Debbie is able to not only get Emily to doubt Clay but if she is able to convince Jet to take a little walk on the wild side like any rock star would do. I cannot wait to see what the divine Ms. Jameson has in store for this band!
This book was provided as an ARC from the author for an honest review.
This was very good but I wish there was more..... I love the chemistry between Emily and Clay/Jet. I didn't want the story to end.
I have loved Clay/Jet since Feverish but now I love him even more. Clay and Emily are getting ready to go on tour and between Emily's nervousness and Clay's insecurities things definitely will reach a "Boiling Point."
What you are hoping for is that they can get past all of the things that happen on the road and just fall into the relationship that they both truly deserve. Even though this is a novella it gives you all the emotion and angst that you are looking for.
I love Clay "Jet" (too much hotness for one man!) and Emily! The chemistry between them is still hot! However, with their own stories/histories, and now that they are on tour with Last Five Seconds, Clay's band. Emily has joined him as his PA & girlfriend. Will they get thru everything together or will their own separate pasts, as well as some people now, put "cold" on their heat?! This is a novella from Feverish, which is book #3 in Bullet Rock Star Series. You don't have to read the entire Bullet Series to read this, but you do have to read Feverish! This is the beginning of the spin-off series! So Feverish is book 3 and book 1, while this is the "official" one in the Feverish Series. I have loved the Bullet Series, but Clay/Jet was one of my favorite characters, so I'm so happy about this & loving more!
